Trustees will:

• Grow and Support Membership:
  • Maintain an up-to-date list of all STS educators in the district. 
• Keep the District Active, Connected, And viable. 
  • Encourage membership, participation, and engagement in Nebraska STS.
• Promote Recognition and Excellence:
  • Encourage nominations for Teacher Excellence and Program Excellence awards. 
• Notify the President and Secretary of retirees:
  • so they can be honored with lifetime membership.
• Serve as a District Representative at each executive board meeting
• Host District Socials:
  • Plan, organize, and communicate a fall and spring social for all STS educators in the district. Nebraska STS reimburses approved expenses.
