The Purpose of Nebraska STS

The purpose of Nebraska STS is to support and advance the Skilled and Technical Sciences educator profession in the state of Nebraska, and to promote the identification and preparation of future Skilled and Technical Sciences educators.

Types of membership

Professional

Open to all individuals who teach or supervise Skilled and Technical Sciences subjects in Nebraska. Professional members are the core of the association | $25

Future STS Educator

Available to individuals currently enrolled in a Skilled and Technical Sciences education program. Student membership helps students connect with the STS community, and begin building their professional network | $5

1st Year STS Educator

Nebraska STS waives membership dues for all first-year Skilled and Technical Sciences educators. This introductory membership welcomes new teachers into the STS community and supports their transition into the profession | Free

Associate

Open to any person who wishes to support the mission and purpose of Nebraska STS. Associate members may include industry partners, administrators, supporters, or community members who value Skilled and Technical Sciences education | $25

Retired

Open to retired educators who held a Skilled and Technical Sciences endorsement (or an equivalent endorsement). Eligible retirees in good standing are offered lifetime membership at no cost; others may receive lifetime membership after a one-time dues payment.
